Achievements lining up for Button!!
Having failed to make even a single mistake, Jenson Button topped the podium once again this time at the Brawn GP Pit at the Istanbul Park Racetrack. Adding to Vettel’s own mistake architecting his own downfall, Button’s tactical driving did make his victory an easy one. The tail ward wind at a point where the track was too slippery made the Englishman narrow down his chances of getting an entrance to the corner right leaving him open wide. This really did a great favor to Button who was on the tail to grab the lead which any racer wouldn’t choose to lose for the rest 57 laps.
At turn 9 Red Bull was devoid of all its advantages and yet it did not choose to switch Vettel to the two-stop strategy. This gamble failed badly paving way for Button to make his dreams come true. Barrichello reduced Button’s fight for his victory with his disastrous race diluting the Brawn-Mercedes team. Lewis Hamilton expressed that he was satisfied as he could’ve done no more. Moreover he is looking forward to The British Grand Prix. With Benson bagging the badge once again Red bulls do look forward for a far closer match at Silverstone.
