RajeshThe sea isn’t bound by any rules. Yet to sail the sea against the unpredictable winds and tides is something that is associated with personal talent got from one’s own self interest rather than acquired knowledge! The Vestas National Laser Coastal Sailing Championship held at Chennai harbor in India recently turned out to be an outstanding one with Rajesh Choudhary winning the laser standard section for more than six years in a row. And among the sailors this winner stands out to be a celebrity of high passion and thirst for sailing with volumes of practical experience in rightly setting the boats against odd winds.
A Bronze medal winner in Asian games in 2002 and ’09, Rajesh looks forward to the 2010 Asian at China. with many aspirants entering this sailing sport considering him as the sole role model because of his successful predictions about the unpredictable seas, Rajesh feels that India lacks in good International coaches to set up new standards in sailing. However having no coach, his training schedules comprising of gym workouts and sailing practices have set him up this high since he believes “Nothing pays more than hard work and practice!”
