A.C.GreenA.C.Green – the massive 6ft-9in tall basketball player who has the greatest record of all times for playing 1192 matches in a stretch for the NBA, does seem to owe a lot of gratitude for the NBA and the Lakers forever in his life! All the gestures and assumptions of a rough and crispy talk from this highly disciplined aspirant does seem to vanish once he starts o share everything about his career. All that he replies for the question of how he overcame all the challenges in his really long career is,” One should never be distracted whenever there is challenge. One should never allow it to become an excuse. Everyone in life has to make adjustments about something and I did that!”
But Green’s career was not a cake-walk as it sounds to have made it into the Lakers, because at times when making it to the NBA was a huge dream, Green played twice for the Lakers winning the championships in 1987 and ’88 – winning both the times he played. Had it not been for his high school coach and his college coach called Miller who Green thanks even now, he wouldn’t have made it to such heights. With Pat Riley as his coach at The Lakers, Green says it was him who brought all the players together as a family and helped them play for each other rather than themselves. He really finds himself debated to Lakers and NBA so much because they were the two main keys that opened many great things in his life.
