RajeshThe sea isn’t bound by any rules. Yet to sail the sea against the unpredictable winds and tides is something that is associated with personal talent got from one’s own self interest rather than acquired knowledge! The Vestas National Laser Coastal Sailing Championship held at Chennai harbor in India recently turned out to be an outstanding one with Rajesh Choudhary winning the laser standard section for more than six years in a row. And among the sailors this winner stands out to be a celebrity of high passion and thirst for sailing with volumes of practical experience in rightly setting the boats against odd winds.
A Bronze medal winner in Asian games in 2002 and ‘09, Rajesh looks forward to the 2010 Asian at China. with many aspirants entering this sailing sport considering him as the sole role model because of his successful predictions about the unpredictable seas, Rajesh feels that India lacks in good International coaches to set up new standards in sailing. However having no coach, his training schedules comprising of gym workouts and sailing practices have set him up this high since he believes “Nothing pays more than hard work and practice!”

Andy_MurrayThe British have finally tasted the buds of victory after 73 years of patient waiting filled with tons of expectations and longings!! With his victory at The Queen’s tournament, Murray has become the first home player to earn the trophy since Austin in 1938! History now has two things to make note of – Murray and Fed. Though Federer’s victory at the French Open and Murray’s victory at The Queen’s do seem like nothing similar, the emotional background of both the players matches to be one. Because these players played more against themselves rather than their opponents.
Bearing the dreams and patience of the whole Britain, Murray did have lots of things loaded in his mind to fight against rather than his opponents. Should Murray and Federer meet at Wimbledon draw, it would be strenuous to predict of who would be more nervous, for Fed would be striking hard to break Sampras’ record of 14 Grand Slam titles while Murray would be striving to turn the 73 years of British hope into something meaningful. Murray has achieved great peaks with this victory ranking him as the third best in the world. He believes it will be 18 months before he tops the list. This is 73 years of difficulty and surely there is a huge rising hope that Murray will end it!

AdamGilchristThe mythological belief that no wicket-keeper can ever prove himself to be the best batsman, in the history of World Cricket, finally has come to an end once for all, with Adam Gilchrist of Australia setting up his own trends of accurate stumping and unpredictable batting styles! Having spent almost 37 years of his life among the crowds and cheers, this Aussie made-for-cricket challenger still doesn’t seem to have run out of his thirst for holding the pulse of every single cricket lover. Though his decision of retirement from International cricket and first class matches aroused a huge response of dismay and shock to all his fans, this islander has made his presence once again grabbing utmost attention with his self controlled leadership for the Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
With all the investors of these kinds of high profit reaping matches running in search of best all rounders, people like Gilly actually deserve a double pay for they are the most precious! A player with drastic skills capable of turning the match’s result solely by his playing, Gilchrist’s courage and passion does provide the Deccan chargers the best moral support. Despite his wicket-keeping and batting skills trying to outwit each other, this Aussie does not fail to give a flamboyant game with his skills flourishing out not at the cost of the other. And as the IPL moves into the second half leaving the tempo rising high, Gilly’s blend of extra-ordinary glove work and batting with his newly turned leadership has aroused tons of expectations round the corner!

A.C.GreenA.C.Green – the massive 6ft-9in tall basketball player who has the greatest record of all times for playing 1192 matches in a stretch for the NBA, does seem to owe a lot of gratitude for the NBA and the Lakers forever in his life! All the gestures and assumptions of a rough and crispy talk from this highly disciplined aspirant does seem to vanish once he starts o share everything about his career. All that he replies for the question of how he overcame all the challenges in his really long career is,” One should never be distracted whenever there is challenge. One should never allow it to become an excuse. Everyone in life has to make adjustments about something and I did that!”
But Green’s career was not a cake-walk as it sounds to have made it into the Lakers, because at times when making it to the NBA was a huge dream, Green played twice for the Lakers winning the championships in 1987 and ‘88 – winning both the times he played. Had it not been for his high school coach and his college coach called Miller who Green thanks even now, he wouldn’t have made it to such heights. With Pat Riley as his coach at The Lakers, Green says it was him who brought all the players together as a family and helped them play for each other rather than themselves. He really finds himself debated to Lakers and NBA so much because they were the two main keys that opened many great things in his life.
